The Twice-Cooked chicken also requires chilli sauce. This involved a lot of chopping - the garlic, ginger and chillis all needed to be peeled and finely chopped. A bit of a pain and in the case of the chilli, I mean that literally. No amount of washing my hands seemed to get rid of the sting.
It also needed close vigilance while simmering and stirring so it was not an easy stand and throw recipe by any means. And it's HOT. It should last a while.
